Many people freak out just hearing the word nigger. They don’t want to hear the context of why the word was uttered, who uttered it to whom, or whether it was serious or in jest. It doesn’t matter to them, the word nigger should never be used in their minds. These are the same people that when absolutely forced to will say, “the n-word” instead of actually using the word nigger. They also say things like “the f-word,” “challenged,” “issues,” and, generally, will try to sugar-coat and obfuscate everything. In short, these people are what we commonly refer to as “politically correct” people and their behavior as “politically correct” behavior or PC. BTW, I have a name I use to call these people instead of PC, I simply refer to them as the village idiots, morons or retards. Take your pick.

The bottom-line is that words don’t have much meaning other than what we give it. It doesn’t matter whether we call a person who is retarded a retard or mentally challenged. What matters is what we want to convey in our usage of the word. If we use “mentally challenged” in a derogatory fashion, it will be just as pathetic and insulting as if we used the word retarded. However, it matters not what we use if we were describing something that is truthful or factual. For example, if we use the word retarded to describe someone that has an IQ of 80 or less, this is perfectly fine, because it is a factual statement. However, even if we use the words mentally challenged to berate someone that is inappropriate. For example, if we were to say, “Oh my! I can’t believe you said something so mentally challenged!” That’s not nice. This is true of anything, even the word nigger.

Think of it from another perspective. When I was growing up, kids used to make fun of each other by calling each other stupid, retarded or moron. Now, I hear kids saying to each other something like, “How do you even exist, you’re so mentally challenged!” Does it matter that the child used mentally challenged instead of retarded, stupid or moron? Of course not! Yet, some people insist that the use of certain words is wrong, regardless of its truthfulness or context; this is completely and utterly false and truly a moronic thought.

Here’s another way to think about it: Does a rose not smell as sweet or look less beautiful because we call it glafugerbarten? Of course not! Therefore, what it comes down to is this: Words don’t convey the intent of the user, only the context of the use of the word can do that. And, this is what we must pay attention to and not the words themselves. This is also where so many people get themselves into trouble, because they listen to the words and not the meaning behind the words. For us to progress to a more rational and civilized society, we must learn to listen through the words that are spoken, and, sometimes, unspoken. Only then can we move beyond superficial hypocrisy that inhibits us from understanding and seeing the truth.

Going back to the word nigger, the historical context of the word is absolutely an abomination and a blight on civility, and, therefore, it should never be used to describe people of African origin or used to berate or denigrate anyone. However, there are still legitimate uses of the word: This whole post correctly and appropriately uses the word. And, from a more modern and contextually correct point of view, it can be used to describe certain people in our society, as sad as that may be. In order for me to explain what I mean by the last statement, I have to define the word first. Based on the historical use of the word, nigger is a derogatory form of the word negro, and negro (which means black) is a scientific terminology to describe people with dark skin from Africa, much like caucasian is used to describe people with light skin from Europe or asian is used to describe people from the continent of Asia. However, in its derogatory form, nigger is used to express less than human or even less than animal like qualities in people who happen to be from Africa and who the user of the word viewed as being ignorant or dumb, lazy and, to some degree, dangerous. Used in this context, without reference to the color of someone’s skin or ancestry, I can think of a whole bunch of people who I think deserved to be called a nigger, regardless of their skin color or ancestry. Those that I believe deserve the moniker of nigger would include rapists, child-molesters, racists, sadistic murderers, serial killers, and the like.

However, this is not to say that we should use the word nigger to actually describe anyone, or that there is ever justification for the use of that word, especially given the sensitivities of Americans of African decent towards the word. But, I’m merely pointing out that there are people that would fit the use of that word and, used in that context, it shouldn’t be taken as being offensive or derogatory, regardless of the race of the individual using it or the individual being described.

The bottom-line is that words are not inherently good or evil; only the intent behind the word can be good or evil. Therefore, we should stop worrying about what words are used to describe things and be more concerned about the intent being conveyed. Therefore, we should stop giving credence to what the PC police think and start thinking about the negative impact that the PC police have on our society. Yesterday, it was stupid, retard or moron, today it’s mentally challenged, and tomorrow it could be intelligence deprived. As long as the PC police get their retarded way, we’re going to continually have to develop words that convey the same thing in a different manner. But to what end, so we can sound pretty? This is utterly moronic. As long as people have evil intent, it doesn’t matter what words they use; what matters is what they mean by the words that they use. The more quickly we understand and realize this, the more rational and civil a society we will have and the better it will be for all of us in the long-run. Also, the more we marginalize the PC police, the more clarity and transparency we will achieve in our interactions with others. So, the next time someone tries to police your words, tell them to stop being stupid, stop wasting their energy on trivial and meaningless bullshit and start focusing on things that really matter.

Here’s one for the PC police. Since there is no equivalent word for whites, why don’t we call white niggers (e.g., rapists, sexual predators of children, serial killers, etc.) whiggers, Chinese niggers chiggars, Arab niggers arggers, Korean niggers koggers, Vietnamese niggers viggers, Brazilian niggers braggers, Colombian niggers coggers, Mexican niggers meggers, Canadian niggers caggers, etc.! ROTFLMAO! PC police are so short-sighted, one can only laugh at their amazingly idiotic philosophy!
